Account information

We offer 3 account types: Classic, Pro and ECN. All accounts have the same execution speed. Their differences are:

Spreads:

The Pro account spreads start from 1.1pips. The ECN account's spreads start from 0.3 pips, whereas the Classic account starts at 1.6 pips.

Commission:

Classic account: No commissions

Pro account: No commissions

ECN account: 4 per side per lot (0.00040% notional value of the base currency of the trading instrument)

Deposits:

Classic account: 100 USD/EUR.

Pro account: 1,000 USD/EUR.

ECN account: 1,000 USD/EUR.

You can follow these steps:

  • Login in your Client Area
  • In Accounts Section, select “Accounts Overview”
  • Choose the Account
  • Click on “Change” in Trading Platform Password

Sure! You can install the MT4 platform in two separate folders on your computer and you can run the MT4 for both your live and demo account.

Contact our Support Team and we’ll process the closure of your account; however, your information will be stored for a minimum period of 7 years, as per legislation.

If your account has not had any login attempts for 90 days, it will be archived automatically internally and will no longer be visible to you.

Sure! You can send us an email to [email protected], with your demo account number and the balance you would like to have.

Archiving your account is not possible at Streams. If your account has not had any login attempts for 90 days or has less than 10 USD in it, it will be archived automatically internally and will no longer be visible to you.

We do offer the Metatrader 4 platform for PC, MAC, mobile phone and tablets.

Yes, you can use your MT4 platform on your MAC.

We do not offer the MT4 MultiTerminal, but you can install multiple MT4 platforms on your PC. Select different folder during the installation process and you can have 2 or more MT4 straight in your PC.

Account information

For FX pairs, Shares, Indices and Metals, the triple rate is charged on Wednesdays. For Energies, Crypto and Spot Index HK-50, triple rates are charged on Fridays.

Yes, you can either check the Swap rates on our Markets Section on our website or alternatively, on the MT4 platform by following these steps:

View > Symbols > Select instrument > Properties

The two-position types are buy and sell. To find the swaps for buy positions, look at the Financing Long option and the Financing short for sell positions.

Accounts can be closed however we are required to store your information for a minimum period of 7 years. This is as per legislation.

If your account has not had any login attempts for 180 days, it will be archived automatically internally and will no longer be visible to you.

As an individual:

Yes by sending an email with your demo account number and balance to our Support team.

Yes, they are the same for both accounts. The only differences are the execution conditions and the lack of slippage on the demo account.

You can do that through the Client Portal. 

 

On the MT4 platform, you can modify or delete the trade through these steps:

Right-click on the trade you placed in the Terminal window:

To modify: ‘Modify or Delete order’
To close: ‘Close order‘

Everything can be found in the MetaTrader 4 platform. The account balance can also be seen in your Client Area.

Deposit & Withdrawals

Login in your Client Area and submit your withdrawal request providing all the required details.

You can deposit funds via Credit card Visa/Mastercard or via bank transfer. All methods are available in your Client Area

he minimum deposit for Classic account is 100 USD/EUR; for Pro and ECN account is 1,000 USD/EUR

No, we do not accept broker to broker transfers. You can deposit funds in your trading account selecting the available deposit methods.

Login in your Client Area and submit your withdrawal request providing all the required details.

We’ll verify and process your withdrawal request within 1 working day.

It can vary depending on your bank. Normally, for bank withdrawals it can take 3-7 working days; credit/debit cards withdrawals can take up to 8 working days.

Streams policy allow to request and process withdrawals via the same method you have used for your deposits. Upon request, we can send profits using a different payment method that must be under your name. We do not allow any third-party withdrawals.

Yes, however, when you request for a withdrawal, your free margin must surpass the amount specified in the withdrawal instruction including all payment charges. Free margin is calculated as equity minus the necessary margin.

If the account does not have enough funds, the withdrawal request will not be processed until the correct form is submitted or the open positions are closed.

Deposit & Withdrawals

Trading Conditions

We offer floating spreads for all account types – Classic, Pro, and ECN.

Classic account: variable spreads starting from 1.6 pips with no commissions.

Pro account: variable spreads, starting from 1.1 pips with no commissions.

ECN account: variable spreads, starting from 0.3 pips with low commissions.

Market spreads may widen considerably at market opening and closing times and prior to announcements. Thus, you must ensure that you have adequate funds on your account to cover this possibility.

We do offer more than 100 trading instruments all available in your Streams account: Forex trading pairs, Indices, Commodities, Shares and Cryptocurrencies. Trade with a broker with personality, Register now!

No we do not provide tick data since MT4 is not able to store all ticks leading this data to be inaccurate.

Streams covers the negative balance, to make sure that our clients do not lose more money than they put in.

 

Streams is a broker with a fully automated No Dealing Desk (NDD) execution model.

No, we do not have a dealing desk since we are an NDD broker thus all our procedures are automated.

Slippage may occur depending on the market and volatility. The slippage can be both positive and negative.

At Streams, we clear our clients’ trades and retranslate quotes which we receive from our liquidity providers.

In case of sharp movements in the market, slippage may occur. Note that during high volatility, the risk of slippage is significantly higher.

Hedging and scalping are both allowed if they are in line with our execution policy. The required margin for hedging positions on Classic, Pro, and ECN accounts is 0.

The Metatrader 4 platform time zone is GMT +3 during Daylight Saving Time period (March-October) and GMT+2 during the rest of the year.

Metatrader 4

You can login to your trading account in your MT4 platform following the below steps:

- Open your MT4
- Click on “File”
- Select “Login to Trade Account”
- Enter your Account ID and password
- Select “Streams-Live” server
- Click “Login”

You can activate the Ask Line following the below steps in your MT4 platform:

- Click “Tools”
- Select “Options”
- In “Chart” section, you can tick Show Ask Line

You can activate the One Click Trading right-clicking in the Chart and select One Click Trading option or clicking Alt+T button combination.

In your MT4 platform, you can right-click on any instrument and select the option “Show All”. All the available instruments will be visualized in your Market Watch.

You can download the MT4 platform from your Client Area, selecting “Downloads”.

You can open a Trade in multiple ways:

- Double click on the desired instrument in Market Watch
- Right-clicking on the desired instrument in the Market Watch and selecting “New Order”
- Click on “New Order” option in MT4 Toolbar
- Right-clicking on Trade Section in the Terminal and selecting “New Order”
- Right-clicking on the chart, selecting “Trading” and “New Order”

You can visualize the chart of an instrument following the below steps:

- In your MT4, from the Market watch you can drag the desired instrument in the right part of the platform
- In the Market Watch, right-clicking on the desired instrument and selecting “Chart Window”

You can change the password of your trading account in your MT4 platform:

- In Navigator, under Accounts section select the StreamsGlobalMarkets-REAL server
- Right-click on the trading account
- Select “Change Password”

You need please to verify your internet connection, as the “No Connection” message is usually related to a loss in connection of the MT4 platform.

If your internet connection is ok, please login again in your trading account following the below steps:

- Click on “File”
- Select “Open an Account”
- Click “Scan” and then select the server Streams-Live
- Click Next
- Select “Existing trade account”
- Click “Finish”

You need to login again in your trading account and be sure to enter the correct password. If you will still visualize the error message, please reset your password from your Client Area

Yes, you can use Expert Advisors in the MT4 platform, if they are in line with our Execution Policy.

No, the time in the MT4 platform can not be changed. It is based on GMT+3 Time zone during the Daylight Saving Time; GMT+2 during the rest of the year.

Trading Conditions

We do not offer MT4 MultiTerminal. However, you can install multiple MT4 platforms and place them in different folders.

 

You can download historical data from the MT4 trading platform through the following steps:

  1. Tools
  2. History Centre
  3. Choose the trading instrument of your choice
  4. Press the ‘Download’ button

History will then be available on your trading platform, so you can click on:

  1. File
  2. Open offline
  3. Open offline chart

Our average execution speed is around 200 milliseconds. In case of sharp movements in the market, slippage may occur. Note that during high volatility, the risk of slippage is significantly higher.
